The SkyLift Park Attendant is a full-time, seasonal position at the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park.  As an Attendant, you are responsible for safely operating the scenic chairlift and helping transport guests up and down the mountain, while periodically monitoring activity on the SkyBridge.  All of our team members also serve as a resource for all guests' questions and inquiries.  To learn more about the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park, please visit our website Gatlinburg SkyLift Park    

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

Typical job functions include: 

  • Assisting guests on and off the scenic chairlift 
  • Starting, stopping, and adjusting speeds of lift
  • Ensuring guests are safely seated and using safety bars
  • Keeping terminal area clean and orderly
  • Performing maintenance on terminal areas and other areas as needed
  • Assisting in daily lift inspections 
  • Monitoring guests activity on the SkyBridge  
  • Answering guests questions 
  • Promoting safety procedures at all time 
  • Enforcing all SkyBridge rules and policies 
  • Assisting in daily park operations as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

This job may be for you if:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • Achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • You are available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • You enjoy working outside in various weather conditions
  • You would enjoy a customer service position helping and interacting with guests
  • You are a self-starter and love helping out in various areas
