To manage the inventory and distribution of retail to Loon Mountain Ski Shops/Retail Shops with a focus on merchandising, excellent customer service, and safety.  


  • Responsible to assist with all retail locations merchandising.
  • Responsible to assist with Early/Late season setup/tear down of retail locations.
  • Responsible for receiving products from manufacturers and reconciling the purchase order.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of retail locations and report to Boyne’s inventory controller.
  • Receive products, enter into RTP/LS Retail, and properly label.
  • Run weekly reports on inventory and report to Boyne’s inventory controller.
  • Transfer merchandise to proper locations.
  • Run negative on hand reports regularly and keep overall shrinkage under 1.50%.
  • Responsible for tracking warranty items and processing special orders.
  • Communicate with vendors to ensure orders are shipped fully and accurately.
  • Prepare and ship on line orders and special orders.


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and /or ability required. 


College degree preferred plus minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in retail/inventory control.  Previous Ski/Snowboard Shop and knowledge of hard/soft goods required. Must be a detail oriented individual.


Ability to apply read, write, and communicate effectively within a professional manner.


Basic math skills are required. 


Ability to solve practical problems and apply a common sense of understanding.
