The Snow Removal Technician is responsible for working independently or as a team member under the direct supervision of the Vehicle Maintenance Manager.  Responsible for de-icing and clearing snow from side walks and walkways, parking lots, driveways, and roadways throughout Boyne Mountain Resort.  As a Boyne Mountain team member, there are so many awesome perks for you to take advantage of, such as:  ski passes, golf passes, waterpark passes, and discounts for food, beverages, retail, daycare, and so much more! To learn more about Boyne Mountain Resort, employment perks, and employee testimonials, click here -  




Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  1. Work within the plan that the Vehicle Maintenance Manager has put in place for de-icing and clearing snow from sidewalks and walkways, parking lots, driveways, and roadways throughout Boyne Mountain Resort.
  2. Always represent the company’s best interest, maintain the highest level of integrity and professionalism.
  3. Maintain a clean and safe job site, while ensuring current landscape and property is not damaged in the efforts of snow removal.
  4. Maintain care for your personal and company provided equipment, tools and vehicles.
  5. Safely and proficiently use snow removal equipment.
  6. Perform physical work outdoors on a consistent basis within harsh and varying weather conditions.
  7. Work as part of a team and take direction.
  8. Foresight to recognize problems within their responsibilities and act upon to solve said problem
  9. Ability to operate machinery, trucks with snow plow, snow blower, front end loader, etc.
  10. Ability to assist guest and answer general resort questions
  11. Attend training classes and seminars as requested by management.



  1. Must be able to withstand harsh winter conditions for long periods of time.
  2. Must be able to work early hour start times
  3. Must be able to work as a team player.
  4. Minimum of High School Degree or equivalent.
  5. Must have a valid driver’s license to operate equipment, Chauffer’s or CDL preferred
  6. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  7. Ability to work a variety of different hours, weekends, and holidays.
