As a Lift Operations Supervisor you are responsible for assisting the Lift Operations Manager with the daily duties of the Lift Operations department policies, procedures and standards. Responsibilities

The Lift Operations Supervisor's typical job functions include:

 

  • Assist in the coordination of lift operators each day; direction, schedules, transportation, relief, supplies, and other miscellaneous support.
  • Assist lift operators in operating the lift when needed; procedures, signage, ramp work, loading and unloading, and lift controls.
  • Assist in all aspects of department infrastructure; tools, paperwork, training, uniforms, etc.
  • Reinforce and practice the policies, procedures and standards of the department.
  • Proficient with safely operating all lifts at Boyne Mountain. 
  • Facilitate communication within the department along with other departments; Lift Maintenance, Ski School, Grooming, Concierge etc.
  • Fill any operator position in case of team member absence including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Providing resort information for guests

Qualifications

This position may be for you if:

 

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • Achieved a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • You are available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • You enjoy working outside in various weather conditions
  • You would enjoy a customer service position helping and interacting with guests
