Overview

Boyne Highlands is currently looking for a new Night Auditor to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Night Auditor is to examine and analyze postings and other financial records to obtain the financial status of the resort. This is a full-time or part-time position that will work primarily night shifts, leaving your days free to take advantage of the various perks that come with working at a beautiful ski resort!

Responsibilities

  • Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.
  • Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for Front Office banks according to cash handling policy and procedures.
  • Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures.
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, and auditing reports and tables.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guest service needs.
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.

Qualifications

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office a plus
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Must be a least 18 years of age
  • Must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
