Overview

We are looking for a Groomer to join the Terrain Park Crew here at Boyne Highlands. The Terrain Park Groomer is responsible for the grooming and nightly maintenance of all terrain parks and features within the terrain parks in coordination with the Terrain Park Manager and Mountain Manager. This position is key to the maintenance of all park elements in the terrain park to provide an enjoyable environment for our guests. Your goal goal will be to provide all guests with the best possible terrain park experiences. This is a full-time seasonal position typically work from Midnight to 9 AM, leaving your days free to enjoy the various perks that come with working for an amazing resort!

Responsibilities

The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.

  • Responsible for safely operating grooming equipment
  • Be able to construct and maintain terrain park features using a snowcat
  • Responsible for grooming of all terrain parks and park features nightly
  • Assist in digging out and removing jib features with the park crew.
  • Safely work with and communicate with ground personnel.
  • Communicates the grooming results from night to the terrain park crew supervisor.
  • Responsible for filling out park grooming logs.
  • Work closely with the grooming department, ski patrol, and mountain management.
  • Participate in build discussion/plan.
  • Focus Park builds on beginner-oriented features and makes adjustments when needed.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Previous grooming experience preferred.
