Overview

Boyne Highlands is currently seeking new Ticket Scanners to join our team! As a Ticket Scanner, you will be responsible for utilizing handheld RFID scanners to verify lift tickets as well as monitor RFID gate access. You will also answer guest’s questions and provide them information about the slopes as well as the resort as a whole. This is an outdoor full-time or part-time position with flexible scheduling, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the various perks that come with working for the Resort.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests to the resort and ski slopes
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all Boyne Highland's products, services, promotions and events, department objectives, and scanning processes
  • Cultivating a friendly, fun environment for the experience of a lifetime for guests and fellow employees
  • Utilize barriers and gates to assist in traffic control of skiers and snowboarders
  • Scan all lift tickets and passes to ensure validity and accuracy of the product
  • Identifying and solving guest ticket issues while possessing the capability of conflict resolution in a timely and respectful manner while providing exceptional customer service
  • Assist guests with resort specific questions, announcements and delivery of pertinent information while providing friendly and helpful guest services
  • Promoting, embracing, and adhering to Boyne Highlands Mission and Core Values

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Ability to work outside, on your feet, in all weather conditions for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to fulfill season commitment - late Nov - April
