As a Concierge you are responsible for professionally answering guest inquiries, offering suggestions, and providing descriptive literature pertaining to trips, excursions, events, and other activities at the resort and/or the local community. Starting wage is at $16 per hour. Responsibilities

The Concierge's typical job functions include:

  • Possess a thorough working knowledge of area activities and restaurants in order to inform guests and be able to offer recommendations
  • Update all staff members on all resort activities local attractions
  • Arrange any reservations and activities (i.e., golf tee times, Spa appointments, ski lessons, zipline tours and other Adventure Center offerings, etc.) as desired by guests while being sure to document all reservations as instructed
  • Make alternative suggestions and reservations if a guest’s first choice is not available
  • Maintain good working relationships with other departments, assisting them when necessary
  • Maintain up-to-date concierge information books
  • Maintain cleanliness of Concierge desk and area
  • Frequently interact with guests during long lines at high business level times, story times, and other activities in the Mountain Grand Lodge lobby area
  • Assist with owner check-ins during busy periods, and be aware of owner birthday and anniversary celebrations

Qualifications

This position might be for you if:

  • You are available to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • You achieved a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You like providing outstanding customer/guest service, meeting new people, as well as reconnecting with familiar guests who return year after year. You get a kick out of exceeding a person’s expectations. If you have previous experience providing excellent customer service, that’s even better!
