 The Zoo Bar at Boyne Highlands is looking for new Food Runners to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering food and drinks from the kitchen to the restaurant promptly as well as assisting servers as needed. This is a full-time or part-time position with flexible scheduling, giving you plenty of chances to take advantage of the awesome perks that come with working for Boyne Highlands Resort. Food Runners start at $10 per hour plus tips.

  • Read kitchen ticket and tray up food and appropriate condiments.
  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the restaurant promptly.
  • Ensure that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality guest service. 
  • Welcome and greet guests. Make all guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to take care of them. 
  • Set up or restock product and service items.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to any customer requests.
  • Answer questions about our food, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services.
  • Communicates absences and schedule changes promptly
  • Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.


  • Must have SafeServ Certification or be able to obtain one after being hired
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while standing for long hours on your feet.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
