Overview

Boyne Highlands is looking for Food Court Bussers to join our team. As a Busser, you will be responsible for maintaining the Food Court, keeping everything clean and organized for guests to enjoy. This is a full-time or part-time seasonal position with flexible scheduling, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the various perks of working for an awesome ski resort. Bussers start at $12 per hour.

Responsibilities

The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position. 

 

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all seating areas including all tables, chairs, and floors. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service and bus station(s). 
  • Communicate and assist hosts to arrange tables and chairs at guest’s request.
  • Removes dirty dishes, silverware, and any debris from tables
  • Returns dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware carefully to the dishwashing area and toss any debris in the garbage. 
  • Assists with spills throughout the restaurant to assure customer safety. 
  • Ensure that guests have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality guest service.
  • Welcome and greet guests. Make all guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to take care of them. 
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment.
  • Take out garbage and wipe down counters and equipment.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to any customer requests.

Qualifications

  • Must have SafeServ Certification or be able to obtain one after being hired
  • Prior Experience with Point-of-Sale system preferred but not required
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while standing for long hours on your feet.
