Overview

Boyne Highlands is looking for a Stock Clerk to join our Food & Beverage team! If you like to keep things clean and organized, this is the job for you. You will be responsible for keeping our pantries, coolers, and freezers stocked and organized. This is a full-time or part-time position with flexible scheduling, giving you plenty of time to take advantage of the various perks that come with working at an amazing resort. Starting pay $16/hour.

Responsibilities

The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position.

 

  • Maintains organization of walk-in coolers/freezers and dry storage room.
  • Puts away stock using FIFO system of organizing.
  • Maintains dumpster and bathrooms for cleanliness.
  • Help wash and put dishes away. Must adhere to sanitation and safety codes.
  • Stock cleaning chemicals and ensure dishwashing machine is working correctly, remove any garbage from the back of house, sweeping and mopping kitchen area.
  • Must be willing to assist all kitchen staff as needed such as assisting with prep work.
  • Communicate with fellow team members and management to maintain organization and best practices.

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must possess ServSafe certification or obtain it upon hire
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Prior experience is helpful but not necessary
