Grooming is a full-time, seasonal position at Boyne Highlands Resort. The primary focus of the groomer is to prepare and maintain a skiing surface that is safe and functional for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels using grooming equipment. We are currently looking for swing and night shift groomers who can work from 4:00pm-12:00am or 11:45pm-8:45am with a lunch break.   • Operate grooming equipment per company policy & procedures; adhering to safety standards, and outputting high-quality snow surfaces to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  • Keep records of operations, including equipment breakdowns and accidents.
  • Learn how to operate all slope-grooming equipment.
  • Safely operate a turbo-charged diesel powered over the snow vehicle with hydrostatic drives, 12-way blade, and multi-function rototiller rear implements.
  • Operate all machine functions, such as blade controls, rear implement controls, and steering.
  • Minimize downtime through basic preventative maintenance, cleanliness, and upkeep of machines.
  • Communicate as needed with shop mechanics concerning mechanical problems.


  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Experience with earthmoving and other heavy machinery preferred.
