This position is also eligible for an end of season bonus after fulfilling the committed hours and work through date.


Referral bonus now up to $200! Both you and the person your are referring have to be working 25 hours/ week or more. ($150 if both are under 25 hours/ week) **Must work through certain date.


The Summit Bartender is its own unique service experience opportunity. This position gives you the opportunity to utilize your elevated mixology skills and beverage knowledge, provide excellent hospitality to our guests and efficiently partner with the Summit team. The basic job functions include greeting every guest with a smile, engaging with guests at a high level using professional communication skills, keeping the bar, bar back and surrounding area in impeccable order, learning and growing an elevated knowledge of The Summit and our community to share with our guests, and a high level of responsibility when dealing with product, cash and care for our guests.


  • Prepare alcohol and/or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
  • Interact with customers, take food/beverage orders and serve food and drinks
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience, getting to know our regular customers by name
  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar areas including decks & patio’s
  • Arrive on time to work with a neat and clean appearance
  • Greet guests with a smile. Carry on appropriate conversations with guests while continuing to do other duties
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Proven working experience as a bartender
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Passion for the hospitality industry, with an emphasis on the beverage culture
  • Understand basic knowledge of state laws & regulations regarding beer, wine, & liquor.
  • Possess basic cocktail mixology technique and basic understanding of beer and wine styles
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Willingness to be part of a resort beverage team and a burning passion to learn more
  • Able to deal with ALL guests and team members in a friendly and positive way
