Referral bonus now up to $200! Both you and the person your are referring have to be working 25 hours/ week or more. ($150 if both are under 25 hours/ week) **Must work through certain date.

 

The Repair Technician is responsible for exceptional ski and snowboard tuning and repair to ensure the best-in-class guest service. Provides general information to the guests about The Summit and The Base Area. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests.  Takes initiative to get any and all jobs completed accurately and proficiently and is someone who doesn’t understand the term “not my job.”

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greets customers and determines their repair needs.
  • Adjusts and test bindings according to industry standards and regulations.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of all product and service levels and industry trends
  • Sharpen, wax, mount and drill equipment as necessary
  • Maintain shop cleanliness standards
  • Responsible for keeping rental shop clean & tidy (duties vary)
  • Monitor repair supply inventory
  • Maintain working knowledge of products and trends within the snowsport industry
  • Safely fit boots, skis and snowboards to customers as needed to assist Rental techs.
  • Demonstrate to the customer how the bindings work.
  • Responsible for assisting bringing ski racks in and out each shift day or night
  • Perform general maintenance and repair on equipment.
  • Be able to complete repair & liability forms with legible penmanship.
  • Handle complaints from customers.
  • Work as fast, yet as safely as possible during peak hours.
  • Ensure our guests' safety by strict attention to detail and properly repair and adjust equipment.
  • Answer questions about ski/snowboard equipment.
  • Accept payment efficiently, with courtesy and diplomacy, entering the appropriate form of payment in the cash register, counting change policies and procedures.
  • Provides superior service to all internal and external customers.
  • Greets customers and determines their needs.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

High school education or equivalent; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be 18 years or older.
