We are looking for new Servers to join The Highlands team! Servers work on the front lines, taking orders, serving food and drinks as well as assisting guests with all other needs. We are looking for full-time or part-time Servers and schedules are flexible, allowing you and your manager to find a schedule that fits your lifestyle and giving you the time you need to enjoy the perks that come from working at the Highlands.

• Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you are there to personally take care of them.
• Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
• Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
• Upsell food and beverage items by using suggestive selling techniques.
• Answer questions regarding regions where food products come from, and how food is prepared.
• Answer questions about our food, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests. enter orders in our point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter.
• Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
• Monitor and observe guest's dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges, or make change (if applicable).
• Assist server assistant with clearing and resetting tables as needed.

• Servers must possess ServSafe certification or acquire it upon hire.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while standing for long hours on your feet
• Prior serving experience is helpful but not necessary
