The Highlands is seeking a Full Time or Part Time, year-round Public Space Attendant, with high standards and a great work ethic to join our team. Hours are 3:30pm-Midnight. Public Space Attendants require self-motivation, the ability to work with little supervision, excellent organizational skills, and the characteristics of a team player. As our new Public Space Attendant, you will be responsible for responding to guest requests for additional supplies, cleaning, and stocking various public spaces within the resort.

• Obtain a list of areas that need to be cleaned immediately and a list of prospective spaces to monitor to prepare work assignments.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Clean all outdoor patio areas and furniture.
• Ensure the cleaning checklist for the area is complete and inspect work to meet standards of cleanliness.
• Restock storage closets.
• Respond to Guest requests for additional supplies or information promptly.
• Keep supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
• Clean, stock, and maintain pool areas, public area bathrooms, hallways, public common areas, ski locker areas, arcades, and elevators.
• Empty and clean all waste and recycling receptacles and transport waste to dumpsters or appropriate recycling containers.
• Move furniture, dust furniture, and wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills as needed
• Comply with our recycling program
• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety issues immediately to the supervisor
• Assist housekeepers and other departments in the completion of their duties as directed by the supervisor

• Must possess a valid driver’s license (Vacation Homes and Nights Only)
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be able to perform all aspects of custodial duties, including bending, stooping, and lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
