Overview

Sugarloaf is looking for a few Terrain Park Groomers for our upcoming winter season. The Terrain Park Groomer is responsible for the grooming and nightly maintenance of all terrain parks and features within the terrain parks in coordination with the department’s winter plan and day crew communications. This position is key to the maintenance of all park elements in the terrain park in an effort to provide an enjoyable environment for our guests. This position’s goal is to provide all guests with the best possible terrain park experience. This position comes with great job perks and is eligible for an end of season bonus. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for safely operating grooming equipment
  • Constructs and maintains terrain park features using a snow cat
  • Grooms all terrain parks and park features nightly
  • Supervises night time hand crew during build projects
  • Assists in digging out and removing jib features with night time park rangers
  • Responsible for the maintenance and reconstruction of parks in coordination with the winter plan and the day crew’s “end-of-day” communications

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of a high school degree and be at least 18 years of age
  • Grooming experience and/or heavy equipment knowledge preferred, but we are willing to train the right fit
  • Must be available nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Must be a positive team player
