Overview

Sunday River is hiring an Assistant Manager for our Rental Shop. This position assists the Rental Manager with the daily operations of the South Ridge rental shop.

 

The rental shop is a lively environment with a team of rental techs to help fit our guests into the appropriate ski and snowboard equipment. The person in this position must enjoy working as part of a team and be able to deliver exceptional customer service to guests, other departments, and be a resource for the rental team. Knowledge and passion about skis, snowboards, and the sport itself is a must! 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a congenial attitude toward guests and fellow Team Members
  • Support with training staff
  • Assist the manager in all aspects of daily operations
  • Oversee operations of reservation system
  • Communicate pertinent information effectively to Team Members
  • Support the manager in inventory management system
  • Keep records of in-season/preseason function tests
  • Assist with developing and coaching Team Members
  • Complete all daily paperwork
  • Reply to team member feedback
  • Open and close shop
  • Ensure shop is clean and represents the Sunday River brand appropriately
  • Routinely lift and carry 30-50 lbs

Qualifications

Ideal candidate will have previous experience working with skis and bindings. Must possess strong time management skills and be a self-starter.
