Sunday River is seeking an Electrical Technician to join our Mountain Operations Team!


This is a Full-Time, Year Round position. The ideal candidate will perform preventative and curative maintenance on all electrical systems throughout the resort, from ski lifts to snowmaking motors and pumps, to commerical kitchens, vehicle charging stations, and more!


Keep the mountain running smoothly and enjoy front row seats to spectacular alpine sunrises and sunsets while you work!


  • Perform to code, basic and advanced maintenance functions as required
  • Install electrical gear, panels, conduit, racks, electrical cable, and equipment in an array of different types of buildings
  • Use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems
  • Use hand and power tools
  • Ability to read electrical schematics
  • Adhere to state and local building regulations
  • Adhere to company safety policies and OSHA standards
  • Complete work orders in a timely manner
  • Other tasks as business dictates


  • Qualified candidates will have either a journeyman or master electrician's license
  • Possess a great attention to detail and safety precautions
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with high and low voltage controls and PLC driven systems
  • Be proficient with industrial controls, including programming, and troubleshooting PLC's and digital drives
  • Possess an ability to solve issues under pressure and think critically
  • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, internet navigation and email
  • Possess a valid driver's license in good standing
  • Motor drive experience is preferred, but not required
