Sugarloaf is currently seeking reliable individuals to take on the role of Snowmaking Foreman for the upcoming winter season with our day and night crews. A Snowmaking Foreman will take part in and oversee the operations of the shift crew to assure safe and efficient operation of snowmaking equipment. The Foreman sets the standards for safety and quality of work. We are looking for one Day Crew Foreman and one Night Crew Foreman at this time. Shift placement will be based on experience and candidate preference. These full-time seasonal positions start in late October and are eligible for seasonal resort benefits and an end-of-season bonus. • Conduct job and safety training for the department.
• Assist in regular appraisals of crew's performance and in maintaining and upholding standards of conduct expected by supervisor.
• Maintain shift efficiency. Must be flexible and able to cope with plan changes due to weather or temperatures.
• Regularly inspect and maintain care of all snowmaking equipment.
• Communicate with supervisor on a regular basis to keep updated on work procedures.
• Communicate with the Ski Patrol daily regarding conditions, special needs and current snow conditions.
• Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by immediate supervisor.

Interested applicants must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or degree equivalent.\

Experience in the field preferred but willing to train the right fit.

Must be able to exert a considerable amount of effort and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs in order to complete tasks.

Must be able to work in changing and adverse weather conditions.
