Sunday River is looking for a technically-minded Accounting Operations /Financial Analyst to manage specialized accounting tasks efficiently, with confidence and competence. The position requires above average attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work, and strong commitment to tasks completed on time.

The Accounting Operations/Financial Analyst will oversee the revenue accounting and budgeting processes and be able to assist departments as needed. They will also be a reporting guru, providing timely and accurate reports and analysis to management.


  •  Oversee the Revenue Accounting process.
    •  Assist in development and documentation of point of sales policies and procedures and ensure compliance.
  •  Oversee RTP Product Development and Maintenance.
    •  Includes designing the structure and process of various products and components.
    • Oversite and approval of RTP Security Profiles.
  • Operating Budgets.
    • Develop seasonal budget targets.
    • Maintain, issue and reconcile budgeting templates.
    • Work with team members to meet targets.
  • Internal and Ad Hoc Reporting.
    • Develop and maintain a variety of internal financial reports.
    • Issue internal financial reports such as P&L’s and daily and weekly reports to a variety of team members.
  • Assist team members in understanding their numbers and business units.
  • Play a key role in the development and implementation of new systems to improve our budgeting and ad hoc reporting functions.
  • Assist with month end closes and external audit preparation.
    • Includes being responsible for designated balance sheet accounts.
  • Policy and procedure development and documentation.
  • During peak business periods, work 4 – 8 hours weekly outside of home department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by VP of Finance.


  •  Bachelor’s degree, (B.S.), in business or accounting, MBA preferred.
  •  Two to four years related experience.
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office products. Experience with MS Nav, Power BI and report writing tools a plus.
  •  Ski industry experience is desired but not required
