The Sugarloaf Resort Housekeeping Team is looking for a hardworking, positive, detail-oriented administrator to join our team. This position combines administration, staff training, and room inspection duties to enhance the overall effectiveness of our Housekeeping Department to grow the department and to provide superior guest services.

You will start your day with a group of housekeepers that are looking to you for direction that you develop with the assistance of the Executive Housekeeping Manager.


This position is currently a full-time seasonal role but could potentially become a year-round job. The starting wage for this job is $17/hr.

  • Assist the Resort Housekeeping Manager in all aspects of provided services.
  • Facilitate an environment to enhance Team recruitment and retention.
  • Provide supervision and direction for all team members in the housekeeping department.
  • Examine rooms, halls, and lobbies, and report any maintenance concerns to supervisor. 
  • Keep utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition. 
  • Complete any special tasks assigned by management.
  • Provide assistance for Weekly and Monthly Trainings and for the coordination of team trainings and functions.
  • Handle all unusual requests and immediate guest concerns, and notify proper personnel.
  • Complete weekly inventory to ensure all guest's products, amenities, and supplies are at par level. 
  • Assist with interviews, hire, and train new team members as well as appraise performance, reward, coach, and counseling team members.


  • At least two years of related experience and/or education is preferred 
  • Must be comfortable communicating via radio 
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license 
  • Should be able to work a varying schedule to reflect business needs of the resort and guest volume
  • Experience with office management and staff conflict resolution is desired 
  • Must be team driven and eager to promote a positive work environment
  • Physical requirements may include: walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted and typing/sitting at a computer for extended
