The Group Sales Liaison is responsible for excellent customer service to all clients, assists with greeting guests, ticketing groups and meeting any special needs groups may have. Assists in coordinating efforts with appropriate departments to assure a smooth, positive experience for group attendees.


Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is a lot to do all year long. 






Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Represent The Summit at Snoqualmie as a leader in Washington state resorts to past, present, and future clients at all times.
  • Help facilitate groups i.e. meet and greet of groups in the following capacity: Day Group visits of 15 people or more, transportation arrivals, base area buyouts, food and beverage coordination, including catering options and food and beverage vouchers and presale events. 
  • Assist in the coordination efforts with appropriate departments to assure a smooth, positive experience for group attendees.
  • Assists with the setup and production of special events and activities as needed.
  • Maintain the existing excellent customer service and participate in the booking of groups, entering information into our database and updating weekly calendars.
  • Solicits sales via phone and email, trade shows, on site presentations, member associations and networking.
  • Effectively communicates with all levels of employees, guests and outside contacts.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work responsibilities and goals, as well as work with minimal supervision. 
  • Print, sell and process payments for group products using RTP Point of Sale System (Training Provided).


What we are looking for:

  • An Associate's Degree in Marketing or Communications, psychology, social services, business, recreation/hospitality management or one to two years’ experience in sales/customer service, or any similar combination of education and experience.  
  • On snow experience and intermediate to advanced ski and/or snowboard skills a plus.
  • Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must display excellent communication skills both written and verbal, as well as customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to act quickly & effectively on arising opportunities.
