Overview

The Highlands is looking for Food and Beverage Attendants for North Peak. North Peak is located at the top of our Interconnect lift and you will ride a snowmobile to get there! You will be responsible for ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience by providing quality guest service. This position is a full or part-time, seasonal position with flexible scheduling that will let you take advantage of the amazing perks that come with working at The Highlands.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you are there to personally take care of them.
  • Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
  • Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
  • Upsell food and beverage items by using suggestive selling techniques.
  • Answer questions about our food, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services.
  • Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
  • Maintain clean service areas
  • Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
  • Other non-essential duties may be assigned
  • Operate POS
  • Handle cash, room charges, and credit card payments according to SOP
  • Verify age on ID for sale of alcohol
  • Handle complaints and comments/refer to proper personnel

Qualifications

  • Must possess ServSafe certification or obtain upon hire
  • Knowledge of POS systems helpful
  • Able to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while standing for long hours on your feet.
