Overview

Sugarloaf is looking for a full time kitchen supervisor for the Bull Moose Bakery and Café located at our resort’s Outdoor Center location. Responsibilities include supervising staff and performing daily food preparation and service at a small lunch café in a cross-country ski lodge featuring homemade food. Other duties include weekly inventory, placing orders for food and supplies, and performing daily cash ups. Candidates should have food preparation and service experience, an understanding of kitchen sanitation and safe work practices.

 

This full time seasonal position comes with great benefits and is eligible for an end of season bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Must be organized in the kitchen and handling scheduling for the kitchen staff
  • Organizing food prep and daily goods for the bakery
  • Must be comfortable setting up an environment conducive to safety, fun and learning
  • Must have strong communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with  guests, supervisors and co-workers
  • Must be reliable, dependable and timely
  • Must have a genuine desire to pass on knowledge to employees
  • Must be able to maintain a great guest service attitude 

Qualifications

  • Management expierence preferred
  • Kitchen expierence
  • A great guest service personality
  • Be able to work weekends and holidays (these are our busiest times)
