The Automotive Mechanic must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive and/or professional training. Required knowledge of all automotive systems including engine, transmission, axle, brake and electronics. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and vehicle inspections on pick-up trucks, and small engines. Experience with welding oxy-acetylene, and fabrication is a plus.
Must be able to work independently and as a team servicing a fleet of vehicles.
Candidate must have the ability to operate, or train on large machinery to include, but not limited to, snow cats, forklifts, loaders, garbage trucks, and plow trucks.
Previous diagnostic and repair experience required. Heavy lifting and the ability to work outdoors in cold temperatures, also required.
Snowcat Mechanic candidate must have 2 years of experience in snowcat maintenance and repair. Must also have knowledge of gas and diesel engines, hydraulic and hydro-static systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting and repair on snowcats, heavy equipment, rolling stock and small engine. Experience in welding and acetylene cutting necessary. Must be able to work independently and in a team setting.
Candidate must have the ability to operate large machinery to include, but not limited to, snowcats, forklifts, loaders, garbage truck, and plow truck.
