Overview

Sunday River Resort is located just minutes away from the picturesque Bethel Village in Western Maine's Mahoosuc Mountains. A true four-season destination, the resort offers eight interconnected peaks of world-class skiing and snowboarding, the most slopeside lodging in the east including two resort hotels, and in the summer months, activities including lift-serviced mountain biking, ziplines, and golf at the acclaimed Sunday River Country Club. Sunday River is a member of the Boyne Resorts family of resorts and attractions.

 

Sunday River Custodians perform custodial duties in Base Area buildings during day and night shifts, including cleaning lodges, restrooms, offices, and cafeterias. You may be required to work in multiple locations each shift based on supervisor and business needs. 

Responsibilities

  • Vacuum
  • Dust
  • Carpet cleaning
  • Supply stocking
  • Trash removal
  • Cleaning of restrooms
  • General cleaning as required
  • Maintain Recycling Program
  • Assist other departments as needed
  • Snow removal, including shoveling
  • Contribute to team effort by participating in Job Sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees
  • Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by immediate supervisor

Position may be located at the Peak Lodge requiring you to wear winter attire and footwear. Peak Lodge is accessed by the Chondola/chair lift. 

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
