Looking for an individual to provide technical support to Loon Mountain employees to ensure they are able to perform their jobs to best serve the guests of Loon Mountain.
Solve front-line hardware, software and connectivity related problems by responding timely to routine trouble calls.
Document solutions for both end user education and technical reference purposes.
Assist in maintaining uptime for all point of sale systems through the resort.
Maintain point of sale and network printers by changing supplies, monitoring performance criteria, and applying preventative maintenance techniques as necessary.
Assist with rollout of new computer hardware including new computers, monitors, and peripherals.
Protect company data by reviewing daily backups of networked systems and file servers. This includes testing backups and the education of users on data backup importance and techniques.
Perform and maintain an inventory of tools and equipment. Maintain stocks of consumable supplies.
Knowledge of personal computer hardware. This includes strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to install and configure add-on cards and options.
Good understanding of Windows operating systems including setup repair and upgrades, along with the ability to troubleshoot and configure any discipline.
Must have hands-on experience using, configuring and troubleshooting various software programs such as MS Office components.
Knowledge of basic serial communications as well as TCP/IP network concepts.
Understanding of basic Active Directory principals.
Must possess very good interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of end-users, management and other department team members.
Utilizes logic and deductive reasoning to diagnose and solve complex problems
