GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Our goal is to provide a superior lodging experience to our guests and owners. This job includes all aspects of keeping the hotel clean including guest room attendant, janitorial and laundry duties. Staff will be cross trained in all areas of housekeeping and work shifts as requested by occupancy demands and the requests of the hotel management team. Must be able to work weekends & holidays.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Thoroughly clean & inspect all aspects of the location being worked. Clean & set up bathrooms, kitchens, make beds with clean linens, thoroughly dust & vacuum and clean all areas of guest rooms. Clean windows as needed. Stock carts & closets. Stay until all work is done in all areas as approved by department manager. We are responsible for the safety of our guest’s belongings & company items, including maintaining vacuums, linens, uniforms, safety equipment, etc. Identify & report all maintenance issues & damage to maintenance. Identify & turn in lost & found items to supervisor. Must be able to stand & walk for long periods of time. Must be willing to be part of a positive team effort to accomplish daily tasks.
