  • Overview

    Spa Concierge is a year-round, full or part time position primarily responsible for answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, processing guest transactions, and managing retail product within the spa boutique.

     

    The Spa Concierge should stimulate a friendly, cheerful attitude with guests, managers, and fellow team members. He/she serves as a role model to all Associates, adhering closely to the Inn at Bay Harbor's Traditions of Service Excellence and Boyne Resorts Core Values. The Spa Concierge sets the highest possible example in conduct, temperament, attendance, punctuality, and standards of work.

    Responsibilities

                 

    • Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves spa facilities.
    • Provide guest tours of the spa.
    • Utilize spa computers with skill and proficiency.
    • Maintain a spa desk bank.
    • Answer the phone promptly and use the guests name throughout the phone conversation.
    • Provide detailed descriptions and actively promote the spa, treatments, retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
    • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
    • Maintain a clean; safe, fully stocked and well organized spa facility including the relaxation lounge.
    • Develop ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time.
    • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
    • Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
    • Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
    • Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.

     

    Qualifications

    Customer service experience, cash handling experience, and experience with Internet software, Word processing software, and Spreadsheet software required. General knowledge of spa services preferred.
