    Shifts Available: Approximately 11:00 pm to 7:00 am
    Wage Information: Negotiable and dependent on experience


    Big Sky Resort is comprised of the following lodging options: Huntley/Shoshone Lodge, Village Center, Summit Hotel, Whitewater Inn and Outside Condominiums. 

    Things to keep in mind: The Whitewater Inn is located on highway 191 about 9 miles east of Big Sky Resort on the Gallatin River. This front desk is usually staffed by one attendant and requires a self-motivated individual. The Whitewater Inn caters to travelers between Yellowstone National Park and Bozeman, and therefore has a shorter off-season. The Huntley/Shoshone Lodge and Village Center are all checked-in at the Huntley desk and is consistently busy. The Summit Hotel is Big Sky Resort's four star lodging. Outside Condominiums will check in at either the Summit Desk or the Huntley Desk, depending on location of the Condo.


    The Night Audit provides excellent guest service by acting as the front-line of Big Sky Resort. This position is an expert on all lodging provided by the Resort as well as activities and sights in the area. Audits can have contact with a guest before, during, and after their stay and will provide consistency through all of these interactions.


    • Provide a point of contact for guests' of Big Sky Resort. Will walk guests through check-in and check-out of lodging, answer phone and provide information during stay, and complete accurate billing at departure. Required to run credit cards, process cash transactions, and reconcile bank at end of shift.
    • Duties specific to the Night Audit position include but are not limited to: running the night audit report, closing out daily transactions for Lodging and/or Food and Beverage, and communicating with Security.
    • Aware of any and all activities and meeting locations on Resort property. Able to accurately direct guests
    • Work congruently with all Resort staff. Will coordinate guest needs with Bellman, Concierge, Housekeeping, Hotel Maintenance and local area vendors. Must maintain a positive attitude and encourage an environment of team work.
    • Follow directions and able to uphold and abide by Boyne USA and Big Sky Resort policies and procedures.
    • Maintain confidential information and inform management of any unusual or suspicious behavior
    • Stand for duration of shift behind the front desk. Must be ready to assist any guest that arrives at a moment’s notice.


    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Previous guest service and/or front desk experience in a hotel or resort setting is preferred
    • Computer literacy and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • CPR and First Aid Certification is preferred
    • Knowledge of foreign language is beneficial
