Supervisor: Lindsay Colbert, Employee Housing Manager

Shifts Available: 5 8-hour shifts per week. Weekend days and/or holidays may be requested. 

Wage Information: $13.00/hr


The Employee Housing Generalist will assist the Housing Manager in coordinator all employee check ins, check outs and handle any issues that may arise in housing throughout the season. The Generalist must also be comfortable assisting employees with any Human Resources needs by directing in the right direction or providing them with the correct information. 


  • Processing Employee Housing reservations.
  • Managing a general housing email account and assisting with phone inquiries.
  • Organizational projects, data entry, and filing.
  • Composing and publishing the bi-weekly Employee Newletter
  • Assisting with Check-Ins: processing paperwork and creating/updating Housing Accounts in Springer Miller.
  • Assisting with work orders and communication with housing maintenance and facility staff.
  • Fully understanding the policies outlined in Big Sky Resort’s Employee Handbook and Employee Housing Agreement.
  • Understanding Human Resource Law and exercising complete discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Assisting with nametag and timecard printing as needed.
  • Filing Workers’ Compensation claims as needed.
  • Assisting with the distribution of Skyline Bus Passes.
  • Assisting HR Director, Recruiter, Generalists, Payroll, and Housing Manager with other duties as needed or requested. 


  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software applications (Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work efficiently.
  • Ability to interact effectively with employees and various levels of management, as well as external applicants and service providers.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and good judgement when applying policy to problems.
  • Past experience with Springer Miller (SMS) preferred.
  • Familiarity with Big Sky Resort managers and outlets preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Big Sky area preferred.
