    Supervisor: Huntley Lodge Executive Housekeeping Manager: Rachel Garabell
    Shifts Available: Varied. Must be willing to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
    Wage Information: Dependent on experience

    The Assistant Executive Housekeeping Manager at the Huntley/Shoshone Lodge is responsible for covering for the Executive Housekeeping Manager's days off, covering evening shifts when the evening supervisors are off, and
    assisting in training and motivating the entire housekeeping staff. Assists in creating housekeepers daily lists, inspecting units, data entry, maintaining employee schedules, managing labor hours, and guest and owner

    interaction/problem resolution. The Assistant Executive Housekeeper must be able to perform all duties expected of the housekeeping department including heavy lifting, deep cleaning and delivery of supplies. Management and/or supervisory experience in a housekeeping department required. Must be able to coach, counsel and direct the housekeeping staff. 


    • Determine daily work assignments for housekeepers and support personnel according to occupancy and operational needs.
    • Remain on site until all blocked rooms are clean, property management system has updated accurately, all housekeepers are finished with their daily assignments, and all keys have been checked back into the office.
    • Inspect Huntley and Shoshone rooms and report any issues.
    • Monitor housekeepers and support personnel performance, progress, and quality of daily assignments.
    • Be willing to assist in cleaning when the need arises, and having the knowledge and skills to do so.
    • Monitor the personal appearance of staff members and enforces the Big Sky Employee Handbook polices and guidelines.
    • Bring unresolved employee or guest/owner issues to the attention of the Executive Housekeeping Manager.
    • Ensure that the work environments are safe for employees and guests/owners.
    • Coordinate and participate in special projects such as, but not limited to, deep cleans, inventories, and supply needs, and documenting that they are accomplished within the specified time frames.
    • Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of the housekeepers and support personnel.
    • Know and understand the fire safety and evacuation procedures and consistently include this information in all training efforts.
    • All other duties as assigned, including documenting the progress of those duties.


    • Supervisory/management and housekeeping experience preferred.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong math skills are required.
    • Must be detail oriented, professional and well organized.
    • Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks at once and adapt to changing situations and environments.
    • Must be physically capable of standing and walking for duration of shift. Lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 25 pounds may be required.
