  • Overview

     

    A front desk attendant is responsible for checking in guests, selling day passes and memberships, and handing out locker keys and towels. Booking appointments for racquetball and massages as well as selling merchandise, gift cards and gift certificates. Preparation and serving of food and alcohol along with the policing of alcohol consumption and valid entry to the club is required.   The front desk attendant will answer phones and collect various forms of payment including cash, checks, credit cards, gift certificates, and travelers’ checks, fold and stock towels, maintain hot tubs, mop floors, empty towel bins, and shovel walkways. This position is “on stage”. The attendant makes people feel welcome with a smile, eye contact, introduction and friendly greeting. The attendant is a team player, looks the part, and takes pride in who they are and what they do. This position requires the individual to work some days, some nights and weekends.

    Responsibilities

    Front desk attendant and a locker room attendant.  Also responsible for general front desk duties, i.e answering phones, booking appointments, checking in guests, etc. Must be able to lift up to 25lbs. Must make people feel welcome, be a team player and take pride in the job. Requires some days, some nights, holidays and some weekends.
