Creates email templates and assets using Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop
Drives the creation of effective and dynamic email campaigns
Authors email marketing campaign messages that are on brand and meet the objectives of the campaign, e.g. increase revenue, reservations, attendance, etc.
Support the implementation of new automated email initiatives
Creates and implements email content calendars and timelines
Ensures marketing content is clearly conveyed to audiences and is in adherence to the resort’s brand voice and guidelines
Proofreads content for clarity, grammar and spelling
Responsible for multi-device (desktop, mobile, tablet) and email application (Gmail, Outlook) testing
Maintains up-to-date email reporting and statistics
Provides quality assurance email testing of all campaigns, including URL testing, creative and content approvals
Understands and adheres to best practices in relation to landing pages, call to actions (CTA), and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
Recommends improvements related to messaging, targeting, and segmentation based on data
Ability and understanding in building out customer segments
Ability to create drip and nurture campaigns
Capacity to analyze campaign performance and data analytics and make astute changes based on results
Monitors campaigns post-deployment to validate completion and effectiveness
Create, edit, and publish content to social media regularly
Participate in social media planning and buying
Social measurement; metrics, tracking, and reporting
Use web analytics to maximize social traffic to home website
Cultivate the online relationship with our customers and ensure all consumer comments/requests on social channels are responded to/handled in a timely manner
Serve as the social media expert for the company; research and share key trends and emerging channels
Assist creating scripts, shot lists and creative vision of video edits and photo shoots based on campaign objectives
Shoot photo and video images of resort and activities for use in social media and other resort marketing content. Assemble raw material into a finished product that meets objectives.
Responsible for working with the Print Shop on fulfillment of resort wide requests for collateral, including welcome tri-folds, restaurant and spa menus, etc.
Creates, edits, and publishes regular web content on innatbayharbor.com, cottagesatbayharbor.com, and the Inn’s Marriott.com site
Creates regular blog content that is on brand, utilizing keywords to ensure SEO optimization and promoting the services and activities that are available on-property and locally that will assist in extending the resort’s communications and marketing reach
Serves as the primary resort representative at limited outside events such as trade shows, sponsored events, and community event
Assists the Director of Marketing with day-to-day operations as needed
Performs all other duties as assigned within the scope of work
Responsibilities include a flexible schedule working evenings and weekends as needed
