    Shift Information: Four 10 hour shifts

    Wage Information: Dependent on Experience

     

    The Lift Maintenance Foreman assists the Manager and Assistant Manager in all day-to-day functions of lift maintenance and leadership. The Foreman will assume the leadership of their crew and primary point of contact for all personnel in other leadership absence. 

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    • Monitoring and review of maintenance to insure that necessary maintenance has been performed per established procedures. Responsible for ensuring that all work is recorded in the appropriate manner.
    • Formulation and initiation of maintenance procedures to ensure all necessary information is available to maintenance personnel for the proper completion of maintenance.
    • Training to ensure all personnel are receiving periodic and pertinent training.
    • Ensuring proper purchasing procedures are followed to provide adequate supplies and equipment for the efficient completion of maintenance in a timely manner.
    • Maintaining professional relationships with regulatory and insurance agencies pertaining to lift maintenance and operations. Escort all state, insurance, NDT, and other inspectors to lift locations.
    • Supervising the maintenance and safe operations of department equipment.
    • Performing maintenance on assigned lifts and ensuring the mechanical integrity of those lifts through regular inspections and follow-up.
    • Assume duties of department manager in their absence. Pursue proficiency in all aspects of supervisory skills.
    • Any and all other assigned duties. 

    Leadership Responsibilities:

    • Dissemination of information pertaining to lift maintenance and BSR policies.
    • Supervise training of technicians and maintaining appropriate training records.
    • Responsible for reasonable safety of guests and crew members.
    • Ensure proper record keeping practices and procedures are established and followed while setting the appropriate example for such.
    • Lead and motivate staff in such a manner as to ensure a teamwork approach to accomplishing the goals of the department and resort.
    • Provides appropriate corrective action and counseling to staff as needed or assigned. 

    Qualifications

    • Strong trouble shooting skills both mechanical and electrical
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Able to lift 50 pounds
    • Able to climb towers and work at heights
    • Able to work outside all environments/conditions
