    Shift Information: 5 days a week; 8 hour days     

    Wage Information: Dependent on Experience

     

    We are currently seeking an Owner Accounting Manager for the Owner Services department at Big Sky Resort. This team is the primary contact for all hotel owners with Big Sky Resort Property Management. The Owner Accounting Manager will manage monthly accounting for all owners in our rental program as well as other duties outlined below.

    Responsibilities

    • Monthly review of statements and rental income for owners
    • Mailing monthly statements and revenue checks to owners
    • Running reports and analyzing data related to owner revenue
    • Responding to, forwarding, and tracking daily email requests
    • Creating and managing various tracking spreadsheets in Excel
    • Managing all aspects of time sensitive invoices through our procurement system and individual owner accounts
    • Reviewing monthly income for all owners to ensure even distribution of rentals
    • Annual preparation of 1099’s for rental income and assisting owners with annual tax reporting requests
    • Answering phone calls and managing owner requests
    • Working closely with internal accounting department and various local real estate agents
    • Seek opportunities to improve owner accounting practices
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Ability to juggle multiple projects with superb accuracy
    • Possess excellent communication and organization skills
    • Individual must be detail oriented and possess strong initiative and a sense of urgency
    • Problem solving and critical thinking skills a must
    • Exceptional customer service skills, over the phone and in person, with our owners and internal departments
    • Must be computer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and Word
    • Knowledge of operating standard office equipment
    • Relevant degree and/or experience required
    • Experience with SMS a plus
    • Familiar with Big Sky Resort and the community preferred
