    Supervisor: Dave Haskell

    Shifts Available: 4-ten hour shifts, with varied days off and early morning starts.

    Wage Information: $10.00/hr start or dependent on experience 

     

    Base Operations Crew is the very front line of guest service. The crew is responsible for making a visually pleasing and safe base area that creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Crew members should be familiar with Big Sky Resort and the surrounding area, able to answer or find the answer to any guest questions. Other duties include: driving the guest shuttle to and from the free skier parking lot to the base area, cleaning up any debris in parking and base areas, and manning a paid parking lot station. Come ready to work outdoors in all conditions!

    Responsibilities

    • Snow and ice removal from parking lots and plaza areas
    • Set up parking lots and walk ways with proper signage and traffic cones to ensure guests are aware of all hazards and policies
    • Daily upkeep of snow removal such as shoveling and sweeping
    • Roadside trash collection and use of machinery and vehicles
    • Accurately collect payment and maintain a cash till for pay parking
    • Patrol parking lots on foot throughout the day
    • Must be willing to work rotating shifts between two base areas: Big Sky Resort Base and Madison Base

    Qualifications

    • Postitve attitude and value strong team work
    • Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record
    • This is an entry level position with potential to gain experience within the Mountain Operations department
