    Shifts Available: Weather dependent schedule with early morning (such as 4 am) starts

    Wage Information: Dependent on experience

     

    The Heavy Equiptment Operator or Plow Truck Driver is responsible for snow removal on approximately 29 miles of road and several large parking lots within the Big Sky Resort area.

    Responsibilities

    • Ability to plow snow in a safe and efficient manner with various types of machinery; such as Loaders, Plow Trucks, etc.
    • Ability to work graveyard shifts and be available for some call in shifts since this position is very weather dependant. 
    • Capable of multi-tasking and using good communication skills.
    • Capable of making sure no property damage occurs including landscaping and vegetation.
    • Responsible for daily record keeping, vehicle checks and some maintenance.
    • Responsible for hand shoveling fire hydrants, LP tanks, and walkways.
    • Ability to participate in safety program, safety meetings and demonstrate regard for other employees and company equipment.
    • Strive to follow all departmental polices, set good examples.

    • Maintain a current CDL and comply with all company CDL requirements as issued by the Montana Department of Transportation (Also seeking non CDL drivers for this position)
    • Able to frequently lift and/or move +/- 60 pounds.
    • While performing the duties of this job,you may be exposed to outside weather conditions, such as extreme cold, and conditions normally occurring in a vehicle maintenance shop
