Assist guests through process of renting Demo equipment while providing excellent customer service in rapid paced job with continual guest contact. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests.
Help guests pick out appropriate size skis/snowboard.
Fit boots and adjust bindings to proper settings for comfort and safety.
Select correct size ski poles.
Verify all signatures and initials on liability release form.
Tuning and waxing of skis and snowboards.
Binding test per ASTM standards.
Contribute to team effort by participating in Job Sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.
Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by immediate supervisor.
Cross-trained in all Retail Shop positions.
Understanding our products and services, what guests need and how to raise the bar to provide excellent service to customers, general public and employees.
Must be able to multitask in a busy retail environment and be a team player.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends and holidays.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous rental ski shop experience required. Ski tuning knowledge preferred.
