The Ski Valet/Ticket checking is a part- or full-time, seasonal position at Boyne Highlands Resort. The Ski valet/Ticket checking team member is responsible for both ski valet and ticket checking. This position focuses on maintaining exceptional guest services as well as professionally assuring all on-slope guests have proper lift access ticket/pass.
Responsible for storing guest personal and rental ski/snowboard equipment.
Act as mountain-side concierge.
Assist and greet guests in storage and retrieval of snow sports equipment.
Offer guests local insight on mountain conditions, weather, ski trails, lift access points and dining option on property and around mountain.
Provide superior service to our guests (internal and external) at all times. Follows resort etiquette guidelines.
Ensure all lift tickets and passes are checked.
Assist in handling conflict and coordinating resolution.
Answer questions and provide directions.
Understand all ticket and season pass products.
Assist with general cleanup of lift areas.
Assist in other areas and perform other tasks as needed.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
While performing the duties of this Job, the Team Member is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; extreme cold. The Team Member is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
