  • Overview

    The HR Assistant is a part-time position working 7:30-4:30 Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This position is responsible for assisting customers of the human resources office in a timely and enthusiastic manner, as well as variety of administrative/clerical functions that support the HR function. The ideal candidate takes initiative to get any and all jobs completed accurately and proficiently.

    Responsibilities

    The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this classification and are not all-inclusive of the specific position. 

    • Greets and assists walk-in customers and answers busy department phone lines.
    • Performs pass fulfillment function for all employee season passes/ID badges.
    • Assists with data entry onboarding/off-boarding in the payroll system
    • Performs daily uniform distribution activities
    • Creates name tags for all employees, including replacement name tags throughout the season
    • Assists with the administration of employee privileges including ski exchange program, lift ticket voucher program, all employee discount purchase programs, etc
    • Performs employment verifications per company guidelines
    • Administrative duties may include reception back-up, preparation of materials for distribution, responding to internal and external requests for information, filing, ordering supplies, and other support functions as needed
    • Assists with the administration of all employee recognition programs, special events, and parties
    • Updates employee bulletin boards,  collects suggestions from resort suggestion boxes and categorizes suggestions for review and action
    • Assists with any other HR projects and/or programs/initiatives as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Dedicated to providing exceptional customer service
    • Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel, and database programs
    • Must show demonstrated attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential material
    • Must have excellent organization skills and be able to handle a high number of projects simultaneously
