  • Overview

    Sugarloaf is looking for a fun energetic team player to fill the role of Banquet Captain for the summer conference/events season.  This position is directly responsible for the performance of all hourly banquet food and beverage servers and bartenders.  Our ideal candidate is someone who displays leadership in guest hospitality, while creating a positive atmosphere for our guests and team members.  The Banquet Captain must have an eye for detail to ensure the smooth execution of all functions.

      

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Performing all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner at all times maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
    • Maintain constant contact with the banquet chef, to ensure smooth flow between food production and food service.
    • Train staff on proper service of food and beverage according to standards.
    • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service and respond to requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. 
    • Work with the Banquet Set up Supervisor and Conference Service team to ensure all banquet rooms are set according to the Banquet Event Order.

    Qualifications

    Previous Banquet Captain or Hotel Function experience preferred, but not required. Supervisor or manager experience within a Food and Beverage operation is beneficial.
