Primary focus of this position is to maintain kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment, and all utensils in clean and orderly condition.
Rinse, scrub and scrape food from all dirty dishes, silverware, and cookware and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine.
Place all clean dishes in proper storage areas.
Clean and maintain work areas, equipment and utensils.
Remove garbage and trash and place refuse in designated pickup area.
Clean drains, disposals and sinks to ensure proper drainage.
Follow all health regulations and assist in maintaining a sanitary environment.
Set up dish machine and ensure machine is operating properly.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators and other kitchen surfaces.
