  • Overview

    Adventure Center Desk Attendant is full time seasonal position at Boyne Highlands. Attendants are responsible for providing quality service to guests by responding to their questions and requests and scheduling tours promptly, efficiently, and courteously on phone calls and during check-in process.

    Responsibilities

    Register, process, and greet guests and promptly.

     

    Develop a thorough knowledge of all activities offered at Adventure Center.

     

    Verify all guest information and ensure proper paperwork is completed at time of check-in.

     

    Know all cash handling procedures. Possesses a thorough knowledge of credit and traveler's check cash handling procedures and adhere to them.

     

    Answer telephones promptly using proper telephone etiquette and appropriate script.

     

    Keep Adventure Center Managers fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of possible significance.

     

     

    Supervisory Duties

     

    This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Qualifications

    Education and/or Experience                                                      

     

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

     

    None required.

     

    Other Requirements

     

    Knowledge of Microsoft products such as Word and Excel, or other word processing and spreadsheet software required. Experience with point of sale software preferred.

     

    Work Environment

     

    While performing the duties of this Job, the Team Member is regularly exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock; explosives; risk of radiation and vibration. The Team Member is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
