    The Social Strategy & Content Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing a social media plan that supports the unique brand while actively engaging consumers and driving revenue across all segments of the resort, managing all resort content that pertains to web, social, print, and display advertising and assisting with marketing and business development projects.

    Responsibilities

    The Social Strategy & Content Specialist's typical job functions include:

    • Creating, editing, and publishing content to social media and web platforms daily
    • Participating in social media planning and buying
    • Social measurement; metrics, tracking, and reporting
    • Using Web analytics to maximize social traffic to home website   
    • Cultivating the online relationship with our customers and ensure all consumer comments/requests on social channels are responded to/handled in a timely manner
    • Leveraging consumer research to promote and optimize content that resonates with our audience
    • Serving as the social media expert for the company; research and share key trends and emerging channels
    • Responsible for understanding the competitive landscape, consumer target mindset, and business needs to inform relevant social strategy and execution
    • Creating weekly blog content that is on brand, utilizing keywords that ensure SEO optimization and promoting the services and activities that are available on-property and locally that will assist in extending the resort’s communications and marketing reach
    • Assisting in creating scripts, shot lists, and creative vision of video edits and photo shoots based on campaign objectives. Shoot photo and video images of resort and activities for use in social media and other resort marketing content. Assemble raw material into a finished product which meets objectives. Short clips (30-90 seconds) may be required the same day as the shoot
    • Representing resort’s unique brand in all content marketing related efforts and assist in maintaining a consistent resort image throughout the property via brochures, resort TV channels, signage, guides, and brochures
    • Carrying out internal and external administrative and communication responsibilities associated with daily snow reporting
    • Collaborating with company leaders, marketing teammates, and other key stakeholders to support and manage our website design and content marketing (blog, social media assets, and more)
    • Development of presentations, communications, timelines, and project update documents
    • Bring new ideas for content creation to the team using your expertise and eye for great design.
    • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and changes in UI/UX and digital marketing and make sure our content translates
    • Proposing creative projects that attract prospects and convert leads
    • Testing new content approaches to capturing existing demand
    • Evolving and ensuring consistency and integrity behind our company’s brand and brand guidelines

    Qualifications

    This position may be for you if:

    • You have achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
    • You are knowledgeable of social media platforms and social analytics
    • You have a positive attitude, team player and willing to learn new skills
    • You have proven photography and videography experience
    • You have experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Web Content Management systems, Microsoft Office, and blogging platforms
    • You possess superior writing and editing skills with a proven ability to create unique and compelling copy
    • You are a creative and innovative thinker with the ability to take complex topics and distill into unique, data-driven and actionable content
    • You have knowledge of the ski/snowboard culture preferred
    • You have a understanding of SEO, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement
    • You are detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects, plans, and deliverables
    • You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever changing, highly productive, and collaborative environment
    • You are able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and able travel to conferences, sponsored events, and expos
