    Status: Full-time year round

     

    As digital content manager for Big Sky Resort, you’ll represent and champion the Resort brand across a variety of digital touchpoints and channels. You’ll get to engage a variety of guest audiences with tight, engaging copy matched with stunning photo and video assets to represent the Biggest Skiing in America and all of the Resort’s micro brands. We’re looking for a highly organized, creative and strategic storyteller to join our tight-knit team of marketers at the fastest growing ski resort in the country. This individual will take on a steady diet of writing, editing and publishing copy across multiple platforms, while also tracking and reporting on campaign engagement, keeping content organized within our digital content management software system, adhering to content licensing agreements, and interfacing closely with all members of the marketing team.  Our ideal candidate is a passionate mountain sports enthusiast who takes pleasure in building stoke through original and impactful digital assets. This person has a track record of producing captivating digital content and is committed to professional excellence and growth. 

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and create strategic digital content for multiple platforms, including website + blog, mobile app, email, third party sites and more
    • Analyze, interpret and report on analytics pertaining to digital content, and provide strategic, data-based recommendations
    • Oversee digital advertising campaigns for the Resort, including display and paid search
    • Manage and oversee execution of email campaigns
    • Execute technical SEO updates to website on weekly and monthly basis
    • Coordinate the messaging and push of mobile app notifications and promotions
    • Manage Big Sky Resort website events calendar and third party events calendars
    • Organize and manage digital asset library and company use of team digital project management tool
    • Respond to guest reviews on behalf of the Resort on third-party sites including TripAdvisor, Yelp, and Google My Business
    • Create and deliver monthly reports to Supervisor
    • Assist marketing team periodically at guest-facing events

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Journalism, Digital Marketing, Digital or New Media
    • Three years minimum of work experience producing professional digital content, copywriting, or freelance writing for digital publications
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently with minimal supervision
    • Ability to work with teammates in a collaborative and positive fashion
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, basic HTML, WordPress, and DropBox
    • Experience using Google Analytics and Google Adwords to track campaign performance
    • Experience with basic video/photo editing programs a plus
    • Experience in travel/hospitality/outdoor sports industries preferred
    • Intermediate level skiing or snowboarding ability preferred
