Join Sunday River's marketing team as the Communications Coordinator and help bring to life Sunday River’s story. Sunday River’s Communications Coordinator reports to the Director of Communications and assists with all internal and external communications through strategic public relations, marketing communications, and marketing research by coordinating press releases and email newsletters, the resort’s guest research program, and the itinerary and informational needs of all visiting media. As such, the Communications Coordinator is the department’s go-to editor and will stand in for the Director of Communications during media interviews as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have a Communications, English, or Marketing Communications degree, a knack for details, an ability to mine data, a real interest in storytelling, organization skills that put Martha Stewart’s own to shame, and the desire to work as a team to better the resort’s overall brand. A proficiency in Microsoft Office, new media, and website updates is necessary. Minimum of intermediate skiing or snowboarding skills required; advanced skiing/snowboarding skills preferred.
A related marketing, English, or communications degree or equivalent experience.
