  • Overview

    Sunday River's Human Resources team is in search of a Recruiting and International Coordinator. This position will oversee the mountain's International J1 visa program and assist with all recruiting efforts at the resort as well as completing Human Resource-related tasks as needed.


    The Recruiting and International Coordinator will attend cultural events as part of the International J1 program and should be comfortable coordinating travel arrangements, navigating international bureaucratic processes, and taking short domestic trips with large groups of international students. Recruiting efforts will include representing the resort at job fairs and hiring events, assisting managers with applications, hiring, and onboarding in iCIMS, updating and managing job postings and applicant tracking, and leading our Referral Program. Other tasks will include assisting with reception area guests and Team Members, creating our bi-weekly Human Resources newsletter, assisting with our Star Awards program, tracking Team Member orientations and trainings, and part-time assistance covering shifts printing Team Member and dependent season passes.


    A successful applicant will be organized, computer savvy, thoughtful, approachable, patient, and adaptable. 


    • Internationals:
      • Coordinate transportation (arrival, departure, social security, etc.)
      • Cultural events
      • Orientations/hiring paperwork (bank, document verification, manager assignment)
      • Questions/needs
      • Workers comp/injury transport
      • Liaison for sponsor, weekly sponsor updates
    • Recruiting:
      • Post positions on resort application tracking system
      • Attend job fairs and represent resort
      • Identify, advertise, and maintain job posting channels
    • Referral Report
    • Reception assistance
      • Applicant questions
      • Manager assistance in iCIMS
      • Application tracking
    • Craft bi-weekly Happy Place Chronicle content and layout
    • Review job posting status and applicants regularly
    • Track all Star Award nominations and facilitate program implementation
    • Assist with an efficient process for printing team member and dependent season passes and tracking orientation attendance  
    • Assist with scanning and filing paperwork as needed


    Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and/or training. Previous ski resort experience is a bonus.
