    Big Sky Resort in Big Sky, MT is looking for an Events and Brand Coordinator to launch and execute the exciting après scene and events for Westward Social.  Westward is one of our new destination restaurants and social gathering spaces at Big Sky Resort.  You are: outgoing, fun, love to grab the mic.  You enjoy interacting with a crowd, getting people excited and having a good time.  You put on nightly crowd events such as bier stein lifting contests or roshambo world champion contests. You live to throw a party and have everyone talking about it the next day. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of weekly nightlife entertainment including recruiting, booking, invoicing, assisting entertainers with setup, tear down and other needs.
    • Develop connections and partnerships with local entertainers as well as maintain relationships with venue management and staff.
    • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage team and the Sales and Marketing team to assure cultural and brand standards.
    • Promote and market scheduled events and report changes in scheduling immediately.
    • Setup venue and ensure equipment, inventory and staff are in place before events.
    • Report on events results weekly, such as revenue, costs, labor, etc.
    • Uphold company policies and represent Big Sky Resort in a professional manner at all times.

    Qualifications

    Preferred Qualification and Skills

    • At least 2 years’ experience in customer service, networking, branding or event management.
    • Positive entrepreneurial attitude with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • A passion for hospitality and the music scene, providing the ultimate guest experience.
    • Ability to work independently and organize, prioritize and plan events.
    • Ability to present analysis and evaluation of results to the Food and Beverage team.
    • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Project, Access).
